Management changes in Blueway
Oslo, 10th of February 2012 --- Johnny Skoglund takes over as new CEO after Jakob Bae, who continues in the position as CEO of Blueway Offshore Norway. Freddy Eriksen becomes the new CEO of Airlift and head of the Onshore Business Area. Dag Johan Sætre has been hired as Technical Director in Blueway AS.
Johnny Skoglund, the Deputy CEO of Blueway AS and CEO of Airlift AS, will take over as the CEO in Blueway AS. Mr. Skoglund has long leadership experience from SAS and Braathens, including the role of Deputy CEO in SAS Norge. Thus, Jakob Bae ends his interim period as CEO in Blueway AS, and continues in his position as head of the Offshore Business Area. Mr. Bae is the former longstanding CEO in Helikopter Service / CHC Helikopter Service.
New CEO in Airlift AS will be Freddy Eriksen. Mr. Eriksen comes from the position as CEO in COOR Service Management AS, and has broad leadership experience from, among others, SAS and Braathens. Mr. Eriksen will also be heading the Onshore Business Area, and is thereby included in the group management of Blueway AS.
Dag Johan Sætre has been hired as Technical Director in Blueway AS and head of Blueway Helicopter. Mr. Sætre is former Project Director in CHC Helikopter Service, and has previously been Technical Director in CHC Norway, CHC Europe and Norsk Helicopter AS.
- These changes in the group management were planned and a prerequisite when Jakob Bae accepted the position as interim CEO for a period from June 2011. We are very happy and grateful for the work Jakob has conducted in this period, says Chairman in Blueway AS, Aage Krog.
